CICS Support *

Micro Focus now supports IBM's GMTRAN system initialization parameter in CICS SIT, which enables you to disconnect a CESN transaction. GMTRAN enables you to specify the outcome of pressing F3 or CLEAR on the CICS Signon transaction CESN/CESL. This is either EXIT (the default) or DISCONNECT (disconnects the TN3270 terminal from the region). (1118562)

An inline method invoke passing a numeric literal to an ANY LENGTH parameter is now working as expected. (1118306)
Compilation of statements which reference floating-point fields with nested subscripting now produces correct object code, and executes as expected. (1118555)

Eclipse IDE

When COBOL source files were included in sub-folders of the project, the analysis was failing because the data was not being generated in the correct location. This has now been fixed. (1114519)
The COPYEXT directive on remote projects now works correctly. (1118324)
The Compile file context menu option is now available for secondary source files. (1118443)
Debugging of JVM COBOL sources located using a path containing spaces no longer throws errors. (1118531)

Enterprise Server

The mfds -g command line waits to time out rather than receiving an immediate fail as a result of an import error. (1118572)
If external security is configured for the Micro Focus Directory Server (MFDS), then a user attempting to import region configuration using the "mfds -g" command now requires "Add" and "Delete" permissions for the "Repository Access" resource under the "Enterprise Server Administration" resource class. The Shared Memory Cushion entry field in the Enterprise Server Administration UI now accepts five digits. (1118594)

HCO for Microsoft SQL Server *

HCOSS now handles the CHAR() function correctly. (1118380)

IMS Support *

IMS images now provide additional sign-on screens for UNIX/Linux images in the same way as these are present on Windows. (1117485)

JCL Support *

LISTDS now returns 8 if the requested dataset does not exist. Previously, it would return zero. (1118102)
The processing of symbol values within nested procedures now returns the correct value for the nested level. (1118149)
An issue with the SQLUTB loading where duplicated keys or indexes were being processed incorrectly has been fixed. (1118320)
An error when using LISTDS with data set names that consist of more than 6 nodes has been corrected. (The maximum number of nodes in a data set name is 22.) (1118599)

Managed Compiler

When compiling for .NET or JVM, a STRING statement involving both string objects and linkage records could produce bad code. (1118560)

OpenESQL

Nested programs with the same PROGRAM-ID now insert records correctly. (1118134)
An issue with having to perform an ALLOCATE after every OPEN CURSOR to avoid an error has been resolved. (1118395)
The OESQL managed runtime now handles FINAL TABLE statements correctly. (1118469)
An issue during COBOL compilation where incorrect error messages (such as "Access plan load error" or "DBRM not found in plan") could appear no longer occurs. This could happen in release 4.0 or later. (1118511)

PL/I Support *

A problem with diagnostic message file and line numbering when a declare statement is split across %include files has been fixed. (1116068)
A compiler problem related to using the options -zalign -nolaxbased has been resolved. (1118259)
The way parameters were passed through cw_java to the program to be debugged was compressing spaces in string arguments that were enclosed in quotes. That has now been fixed. (1118587)

Visual Studio IDE

The build process does not stop when errors occur in the assembler, ims and bms compiles. (1118012)
The debug tooltips now show the correct value for table items that are qualified. (1118624)

XML Support

The managed XML syntax support runtime now cleans up all the unwanted empty XML tags. (1118515)
